Nothing to see until you go somewhere.

No infinite feed. No follower counts. The product only works if you leave the house.

Why we built it this way.

Every mechanic is a bet against the attention economy. There is no infinite feed because the product has nothing to show you until you go somewhere. There are no follower counts because the value isn't an audience — it's the discovery that someone you'll never meet loved the same bench.

The mechanic we were least sure of turned out to be the one people describe first. Crossed paths has no urgency built into it — nobody is waiting on the other end, and there is nothing to miss. It works because the discovery arrives after the fact, attached to a place you already chose to go. That is the shape we look for now in everything else we build.
